President – Tricia Swanson - Tricia lives in Annapolis with her dog Bentley. She is the legislative aide to Maryland Delegate Ariana Kelly where she assists the Delegate with day to day office operations and policy matters. In addition to AACYD, Tricia serves as a designated member of the Anne Arundel County Central Committee and is a member of the steering committee of Maryland Women for Obama. When she is not busy campaigning, Tricia can be found at Pug-a-paloozas or burning through Netflix instant queue.
Executive Vice-President – Betsy Dudley - Betsy lives in Annapolis with her dog Jackson. She is currently pursing her Masters in Public Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition to AACYD, Betsy is co-chair of YDM’s Fundraising Committee. When she is not busy campaigning, during the day Betsy can be found sleeping, at night she can be found texting and watching anime.
Vice-President of Programming – Travis Crow - Travis lives in Glen Burnie. He is currently on active duty working as a paralegal for the Army. In addition to AACYD, Travis is the Vice-Chair of the Veteran’s Caucuses at both the State and National Young Democrats levels as well as serves as Vice-Chair of the State LGBT Caucus. When he is not busy campaigning, Travis can be found eating Menchies or going for long runs at the park.
Secretary – Anne Klase - Anne lives in Annapolis with her dog Ovi. She is a graduate of Salisbury University, where she studied Political Science. She currently serves as Campaign Director for Maryland State Comptroller Peter Franchot. In addition to AACYD, Anne serves on the board of the District 30 Democratic Club. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending Baltimore Ravens and Washington Capitals games.
Treasurer – Spencer Dove - Spencer lives in Severn with his dog RiRi. He currently works at the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights. Before that, he served as the legislative aide to Maryland Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk where he assisted the Delegate in running her Annapolis office. Spencer’s time is consumed by managing our bank account and preventing us from spending unnecessary money. When he is not busy crunching numbers, Spencer can be found doing community work with his Brothers in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity or being a socialite in a city near you.
